Upper Trishuli-1 Hydroelectric Project (UT-1)

Biome and Ecosystem Solutions are the National Aquatic Ecology Consultants for the Upper Trishuli-1 HEP as part of the Biodiversity Monitoring Plan and an in-depth Fish Monitoring Plan for the UT-1 Hydroelectric Project. Biome has been involved in the surveillances since 2022.

Dudhkoshi Storage Hydroelectric Project (DKSHEP)

Biome are involved in Aquatic surveillance of the DudhKoshi river system as part of the Dudhkoshi Storage Hydroelectric Project. Biome also provides its Electric Fishing Services to this project. Studies are currently ongoing.

Project Ukali: Snow Leopard Conservation Genetics

Biome Consultants are the key knowledge, training and capacity and implementation liaison partners for The Third Pole Conservancy (TPC) under Project Ukali to study Snow Leopard non-invasive genetics for population and individual level conservation genetics studies.

Otter Conservation, Aquatic Surveillance at Karnali

Biome was involved in the aquatic surveillance of the Lower Karnali Watershed, engagements with community stakeholders and conservation actors/champions towards Otter Conservation awareness, conservation and programs in the area. The study was funded by WWF-Nepal.
